Angela Nicholas, Administrator / Principal

Mission

Guide Students by allowing the Holy Spirit to use us to equip them with the tools necessary for life-long learning.

Vision

Our vision is to  provide an excellent christian education, and   encourage a sense of self worth, independence, and respect among all students.

Mrs. Nicholas, having named the school  Triple D’s Christian Academy  after her three children, wished to have a later cut off date to start school, due to all her children having a late birthday and successfully completed their grades without difficulty. Since our school is surrounded by a diverse military population, we allow students who do not meet the K-5 cut off date of September 1 to enroll in our program. Our cut-off date for K-5 is December 1.

The School’s name was later changed October 2009, to Carden Christian Academy.

Philosophy

Carden  Christian Academy is a school of excellence that provides a curriculum that caters to the whole child. We strive to provide a foundation of self respect, high self esteem, and joy of learning.

All children are welcome at our school regardless of race, gender, religion, or socioeconomic status. Through the use of the Carden Method, we accommodate the various learning styles of each child and assist the child to grow at his/her own pace. The children are provided with the tools essential to their success with the Bible, early intervention of literature, poems, numbers, art appreciation, music, writing, and French.

Each classroom environment is structured in a way that makes each child welcome and motivated to work to the best of his/her ability. We believe in order for the child to be successful in school and beyond, they should have significant room for emotional, social, and physical development. Ms. Mae Carden’s principle is incorporated in all areas of learning, which is to have the students identify, define and experience all areas of education.
